Allaigna’s Song: Overture by J.M. Landels
Our first book in this box is a coming of age novel that also subs as a love story and a family saga with a deeply woven chronicle.
Our husband is super excited to read this one! Most of the books that are included in this subscription are indie books so we are unlikely to find this book anywhere else!
Bookmarks
Each package from Universe Bound may include but not limited to: bookmarks and other paper goods. We received a total of 3 bookmarks in this package.
Candy Tin
Each package from Universe Bound comes with a tin of both candy as well as loose leaf tea.
The tin of candy for this month includes a total of 9 pieces of candy. There are Basil’s Best Espresso, Brazilian Coffee and Werther’s Original included.
Universe Bound Candle
Each package from Universe Bound also includes one hand poured candle. This month the scent is Nag Champa. We are super excited about this because typically you only find this scent in incense and the smoke from incense gives us a headache… so a candle is a welcome reprieve! This is also a lotion candle so you can use the wax to give massages which we think is pretty darn cool!
Stainless Steel Flower Tea Spoon
Our favorite item in this box is this flower shaped tea spoon. Not only is this great for the tea that we received for the month – it’s also just a great item to have on hand in general and the shape is super pretty!
Pumpkin Spice Chai Tea from The Tea Spot
Each package from Universe Bound also contains a tin of tea… this month it’s appropriately Pumpkin Spiced Chai from the Tea Spot. This tea is guaranteed to satisfy that PSL itch you’ve been having. You could literally smell this tea outside the box! We can’t wait to try it out!
The Black God’s Drum by P. Djeli Clark
The final item and second book in this month’s subscription box is a debut science fiction novella that promises both airships and adventure!
While this is a very think book it looks really promising and we are really excited to give it a read!
So in summary
Presentation: Everything was packaged well and arrived perfectly
Quality: We are really impressed with how they package our snacks and edibles in this box and the fact that they include books from independent publishers – the quality is awesome!
Curation: The box that we received had 2 books which we think is fantastic and a lot of other items to help us get into the reading mood. We really loved this box and think that you will too!
