Our first glimpse inside the Skinstore Limited Edition Men’s Collection. We love the bag it all comes in, it’s non descript and great for travel.
Everything that we received in this limited edition collection. This is an amazing collection of items Dad would be ecstatic to receive! We find most of them quite satisfying ourselves as well!
So what is all this stuff?
Murad Essential C Day Moisture Broad Spectrum SPF 30

When you talk about solid, consistent products that work, Murad is one of the first brands that come to mind. Included in this collection is their Vitamin C enriched environmental shield. This is a full sized 1.7 ounce tube that moisturizes and protects your delicate facial skin from environmental free radicals. Great for all skin types and free of parabens, sulfates, pthalates and gluten as well as animal derived ingredients.
To use simply apply to face, neck and check after your serums during your morning skincare routine. We think this is an excellent addition to a men’s skincare box. It’s a great staple product, nothing extra or fancy – just a base of solid ingredients that work together to do exactly what they say they will!
SkinCeutical C E Ferulic Serum Sample

This is the only sample sized item in this box and it’s still valued at $22! The full size C E Ferulic is $166. We love Skinceuticals and one of our all time holy grail face creams (used to treat rosacea) is from this brand. This serum is a mixture of Vitamin C, Vitmain E and ferulic acid to combat the elements and diminish the signs of aging.
This product is created using very strict parameters to be sure of the efficacy of this serum which gives us a lot of hope! They suggest using this with the Skinceuticals Sunscreen. We are really excited to give this product a shot because we have had such great results with their products in the past!
The Organic Pharmacy Ultra Light Moisture Gel

The Organic Pharmacy is a brand we are somewhat familiar with but haven’t had the opportunity to try too many of the products that are in their line. This moisturizing gel is great for both normal to oily skin and hydrates as it refreshes the skin. Packed with skin nourishing ingredients like aloe, licorice and green tea this organic moisturizer is lightweight as well as free of artificial preservatives, fragrances and colorants.
This is another great item to add to a men’s collection. Free of the bells and whistles that many products targeted towards women have. This leaves us with a product that is made to work – and to boot it’s free of all the chemicals and icky stuff we don’t want as well. And don’t forget ladies just because it says for men doesn’t mean you can’t use it too!
Peter Thomas Roth Irish Moor Mud Mask

The item in this Men’s Collection we are most excited about is this travel sized Irish Moor Mud Mask from Peter Thomas Roth. We are OBSESSED with his different masks and are always super pumped to get our hands on a new one to try.
We love the packaging, it’s understated but there’s something very regal about it as well!
This mask uses odorless Irish Moor Mud to draw out impurities and toxins. The instructions say to apply using fingertips evenly on skin and allow on skin up to 10 minutes. Remove with a warm washcloth and use up to 3 times a week.
Babor 3D Hydro Gel Eye Pads

This 4 pack of hydrogel eye pads from Babor is a wonderful, indulgence for Father’s Day! The eye pads contain Hyaluronic Acid to moisturize the under eye area while also making your eyes fresher and revitalized! We’ve used some of Dr. Babor’s Ampoules in the past and have really enjoyed them so the inclusion of the eye gel pads is really nice – we’ll get to try out some new products from the Dr. Babor brand!
Redken Brews Texture Pomade

This texture pomade from hair giant Redken is the perfect grand finale to a men’s collection. Use this pomade to tame your tresses and get maximum hold while amplifying volume. The addition of mineral salts adds texture and grip as well, making this a great product! The packaging is masculine and simple and the tub makes it easy to scoop out product to apply to hair. This is the only item in this collection that isn’t skincare related!
So in summary
Presentation: The bag this collection comes in makes this the perfect gift for the man in your life. Everything arrived to us in excellent condition and was packaged perfectly.
Quality: What can we say? We think the products pretty much spoke for themselves… the quality is definitely here with this collection of high end skin and hair care products! We received really wonderful products from companies with wonderful reputations. What we think a collection like this should do is deliver results and that’s exactly the assortment that Skinstore has put together.
Curation: We feel like Skinstore assembled an amazing collection of items for the modern man. Simple yet effective and lacking all the fragrance and colorants than many products targeted towards women tend to have. While this is definitely a collection assembled for men we can’t imagine a woman would be mad at this either!
Box Economy: For the price of this box ($69) we received $250 in products which is an incredible deal! We received over 3 times the price we paid in products!
