It all began when they saw two struggling local artisans selling handmade bracelets and they wanted to help. The friends began selling these bracelets on a global level with help from the two local artisans. Today, Pura Vida is providing a steady income and a positive work environment for more than 800 artisans in Costa Rica, El Salvador, and India. They have partnered with 175 charities around the world giving back and donating over $2.8 million!
