The first glimpse inside the Postbox from Postmark’d Studio.

Everything that came in our “Brown Bag” themed package. Each card represented a different part of lunch which I think was both adorable and clever! And it all came tucked in a brown paper bag!

So what is all this stuff?

Our box insert. This lists each of the items that came in our package and also tells you about the different small businesses and their mission!

The reverse of our insert each month includes ways that we can further take our letter writing. This month tells us how to start our own letter writing society.

Thinking of You Card from Food For Thought Cards

$3.25

This card was included as a bonus to commemorate Thinking of you week that takes place from September 23rd through the 27th! It’s a great way to remind someone that you are thinking of them and wishing them well.

For every card sold by Food For Thought Cards a peanut butter and jelly sandwich is donated to a food bank. I love companies with philanthropic missions so I am really glad that this card was included!

Missing You Card from Quick Brown Fox Letterpress

$5

We’ve received cards from Quick Brown Fox letterpress before and I think this one is my favorite. It’s simple, to the point and kind of cheeky! This would make a great card to send who a friend who moved or just someone who’s been on your mind! Quick Brown Fox is located in Brooklyn, New York.

Mr. Zip LunchBox Postcard

This postcard is a postbox exclusive and I love these retro images a lot! This would be a great postcard to send a fellow snail mail lover! I love receiving exclusive items so this is a welcome inclusion to this box!

The back of our postcard has the Postmark’d logo and little emojis that mean I love snail mail… which is so true!

You’re All That Card from Elum Designs

$5.50

Next up is a card that caught my attention. This, “You’re all that and a bag of purple potato chips” card made me smile. I love the color and the sentiment and it’s just an awesome way to say congratulations to anyone in your life who’s accomplished something awesome!

Elum Designs is located in San Diego California and has been featured in the Postbox from Postmark’d Studios before.

Apple of My Eye Card from Clap Clap Design

$2.50

And now for the fruit and veggie portion of this month’s Postbox… an Apple of My Eye Card. I am impressed with how each card fits this month’s theme but manages to be unique and the graphics on this are definitely eye catching, modern and unique. Tell someone how highly you think of them with this fun card!

Clap Clap Design is a new to us brand that is based in Los Angeles, California and is best know for their line of SCENTED greeting cards.. that to me is awesome and I feel like I need to buy one or a hundred!

Lunch Box Notes from Inklings Paperie

$18

My absolute favorite item that was included in this box is this set of 24 lunchbox notes. All you’ll have to do is write your message on one of the included notes, apply the scratch off sticker over top of it and toss it in your child’s lunchbox or even in your spouses wallet or bag to send them off with an encouraging or loving message.

I love the scratch off idea and that you can easily store your notes in the little drawstring bag!

Vintage Postage

Every package from Postmark’d Studio comes with enough vintage postage for four cards. It also includes a little card that shows how to group stamps to ensure they will mail correctly. I don’t like taking these out until I actually use them as the oils on my hands tend to active the backs and make them sticky!

PB & J Sandwich Booklet from Inkello

$5

To complete the box we received this adorable PB & J booklet that you can mail just like you would a card… and the envelope even looks like a brown paper bag! Fill in the pages with whatever message you’d like and sent it along to it’s intended recipient. I love that it even came with it’s own little pencil!

As you can see the colors of the pages represent the peanut butter and jelly of the sandwich! Inkello is located in Denver Colorado and owner Christy Schneider was featured recently in Print / Maker Uppercase of Encyclopedia of Inspiration!

So in summary

Presentation: As always everything was packaged cleverly and well and arrived to us in perfect condition for this month’s installment of Postbox!

Quality: The quality of this box is always tops! The cards are made not only with high quality card stock and other rich materials but they’re also made by people with skill and they’re always designed so well.

Curation: I thought this month’s package was a really fun idea that came to life with each card that I unboxed. I have never unboxed something quite like it and really enjoyed that each card represented a different part of a lunch… somehow though, the cards didn’t feel redudant or overdone. It was an awesome month from Postbox!

Box Economy: For the price of this box ($25) we received over $40 in items which is a really great deal!
