Our first glimpse inside the Postbox from Postmark’d Studio.
Everything that we received in our March, “Writing on Sunshine” themed assortment. Not only is this bright and fun… it’s super upbeat as well!
So what is all this stuff?
Our box insert. This side tells us “fun facts about Mr. Zip” (more on that later)
And the reverse lists each of the items that we received.
First up and our personal favorite for the month is this gorgeous Redwood card. Made with sustainable, compostable and recycled material what isn’t there to like? This kind of reminds us of Bob Ross and his, “happy little trees”.
Keva Ink is a Bayside, CA letterpress.
$5
Next up is this adorable and fun, foiled manta ray card! Great way to lift up a friend or family members spirits.
Paper Wilderness is a Long Beach, CA based letterpress.
$5
This card is absolutely awesome! This little golden retriever is just soaking up the sun and the purple envelope makes it pop!
Printerette Press is a Minneapolis, MN based letterpress.
This is the first postcard in Postmardk’d Studio’s monthly series celebrating 2019 as the “Year of the Postbox”.
Here’s the reverse
This month we received a bonus.. in the form of this cool perforated sheet. These 4 souvenir stamps are an homage to Mr. Zippy a character that was used to raise awareness of the new zip code system in the 60’s. The coolest part is that Perforated Post is located just a hop skip and a jump from us in Fleetwood, PA.
Each package from Postmark’d Studio comes with enough postage to mail each of your cards. This month we received more fun vintage postage as well as a card that tells us how to use them together!
$2.44
Then we have this adorably stamped sun card from The Grits. This is a bit smaller than the other cards so it’s a great way to write a thank your or add it on to a teacher gift!
The Grits is a letterpress located in Southern California and run by Narine Riley.
Tails are cuttings from larger pieces of paper and usually get thrown away. Folio Press has found a way to make them useful by making them into smaller note cards. This set of four is each stamped with a cool little sun. These were exclusive to the March Postbox.
We think cards like this are the perfect way to write your kids little encouraging notes!
The final item not only contributes to the aesthetic of the box but also helps us to write on all of our new stationery and cards! This pen is fun and vibrant but writes in good old black ink!
So in summary
Presentation: We love how this box is packaged and everything always arrives to us perfectly.
Quality: They source all of their products from independent letter press’ that have honed their craft and have quality nailed down.
Curation: Our favorite part about this box is how well the themes are wed. This month’s package is absolutely no exception and this sunny and fun box really rocked our socks!
