Our first glimpse inside the Postbox from Postmark’d Studio for June.
Everything that we received in our June, “Changing the World One Letter at a Time” themed collection. The emphasis here is on… change! So cute!
So what is all this stuff?
Our box insert. This lists each of the items that we received and does a really great job of telling us where they came from.
The reverse of our insert always takes the box a step farther by including a way to do something good for the world around you. This month it’s making an Origami Heart!
In addition to that insert we also receive a handwritten note with each box.
This one had a little fortune cookie on it. Our fortune is, “An inch of time is an inch of gold”. We’ll take it!
The first item in our box is a box bonus and has a bit of that nostalgic factor to it. This coin purse has the Postmark’d Studio logo on it and is the rubber kind that you squeeze open. Who doesn’t remember these from the eighties!?
$6
The first card in our collection is a die cut that we think is as clever as it is cool! The fact that it incorporates a penny to put in the loafer makes it even that much cooler! Lucky Loafer a New Orleans, Louisiana letterpress is about passing on all that good luck you get from pennies!
$5.50
This adorable card from Colorbox Letterpress is the perfect card to give to a friend who is having a hard go at it. It says, “If I saw you on the ground I’d pick you up” and it has a picture of a penny which we think is really appropriate!
Colorbox Letterpress is a Texas based letterpress who creates tactile designs on a Vandercock letterpress!
$2.50
Next we have our “Year of the Postbox” monthly postcard. This cute vintage stamped card is super cool and hails from Crowning Hens Bindery located in Nashville, TN.
The back has their cute little hen logo on it!
Our next card is this gold leafed piggy bank from Catherine Greenup Visual. This is bright and sparkly and would make an excellent gift for a graduate! Each of these cards is created by hand with a method that involves layering glue over the finished art. Once it dries the gold leafing is applied – creating these gorgeous cards. Catherine Greenup Visual is located in Cambria, CA.
$5
Our favorite card that was included in this subscription box is this chameleon card. It’s hilariously cheeky and lots of fun! Iloot is an acronym that stands for in lieu of ordinary things and is based in Pasadena, CA. We love the mint green envelope!
$2
Our artsy doodad for the month is this Sakura Gelly Roll Pen in Metallic Copper. This really is pretty copper when it writes as well! What a great tool to sign all your new cards.
The final items in our box from Postmark’d Studio for June is enough postage to sends all your new cards. For the past few months they’ve been including vintage postage which we think is super gorgeous! They even include a little card that tells you how to use them in combination!
So in summary
Presentation: Everything was packaged excellently and arrived to us perfectly in our Postbox for June
Quality: We love that each of these cards is born of creativity and love of the craft. We love that they are made mainly on vintage letterpress’ and the amount of work each one takes!
Curation: This “Changing the World” themed assortment was super cute and extremely unique… it’s making us green with… (alright that jokes even too corny for us).
