Love Letter Mad Libs
Not only is this a fun twist on the classic love letter – it’s also a twist on Mad Libs! Choose the words randomly or thoughtfully curate your letter to your spouse.

Drawing in the Dark Game
This fun game requires blindfolding or darkness. The drawer choose a catergory while the other player chooses the object. Once you are drawing you can’t lift the chalk from the board. First to 5 wins!
To complete this game we received both a chalkboard as well as chalk.
Homemade Ice Cream
We’ve never made homemade ice cream but this certainly sounded like a lot of fun.
All the instructions are here on the back of the card and it seemed simple enough to do!
We received 2 small ice cream containers to put our ice cream in.
As well as 2 small birch ware spoons.
The Rock Salt helps to cool our ice cream mixture.
The vanilla is added to our ice cream mixture for a bit of added flavor.
We also received Oreo Cookies, gummie bears and Jimmie’s as toppings for our homemade ice cream.
And we’ll need some ziploc bags as well.
To create your ice cream you fill your Ziploc bag half way with ice
And then add half your rock salt.
In a smaller bag you’ll combine heavy whipping cream, sugar and vanilla and seal this bag. Next you’ll put the small bag in the larger bag and SHAKE. For like 8-10 minutes you’ll do this and then you can pop it in the freezer to your desired frozen-ness.

Hot Fudge
Finally, we create our hot fudge to top our sundae.
We received these chocolate chips just for this case.
Mix cream and butter and chocolate together and heat in the microwave for 15 seconds at a time.
Once that’s done you can start topping your ice cream.
Here are our finished creations! They tasted just like the real thing too!
So in summary
We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation and presentation. The Noche De Amor Box is a great way to enjoy a night in with your spouse or partner. We think this leans a bit on the pricier side but STILL costs less than a night out (especially if you have children and have to pay a babysitter). We love the theme and think making ice cream is really original and fun. The presentation is great, everything is labeled and arrives perfectly. The quality is good. They sent cute cups for the ice cream and we love the little spoons. Curation is wonderful. This was a fun and easy thing to do and we had tons of fun!
