Yogaworks is an online yoga resource full of yoga classes. The classes are subscription based and give you access to the hundreds of videos available. Classes range from beginner to teacher level and you can sort through to find a class that’s perfect for you! We told you guys that last September we started eating right and taking better care of our own body with exercise. In the process we’ve lost a total of 36 pounds and will completely vouch for this service out the gate. We’ve been using this a little over a week and have implemented it into each of our own workouts! Subscriptions are available for 3 months for $45, 6 months for $80, or 12 months for $150. Use code YOGA3 to get your first 3 months for just $1. NAT received a subscription at no cost in exchange for our honest review.
Because this subscription is digital you won’t be receiving anything in the mail but you’ll have access to hundreds of amazing videos.
You will be able to filter through (don’t mind all of our tabs) to find the class that’s right from you. Select from duration, to area of the body you want to focus on, the level (ranges from beginner, intermediate, advanced and teacher). You can even search for videos that make you feel a certain way… for instance calming, energized and many more. You can additionally select for certain teachers and different yoga styles… HELLO ACROYOGA!
We used 4 different filters on our first search and found a total of 62 videos (which we think is awesome). For us this is imperative because it keeps the workout feeling fresh and new.
Additionally, you can sort through the many journeys that Yogaworks offers. These are video series that walk you through a certain theme step by step. We worked through the Journey to Strength which is a 10 class series and it kicked our butt in the absolute best way possible!
The classes are all listed on the website and can be streamed on your computer or on your smartphone. There’s an option for full screen and because it’s a video you can always rewind and try again if you find a pose particularly challenging. You can even add classes to a playlist or to your own calendar to keep yourself on task with your yogi goals!
Once you add a video to your playlist you can access them easily later – this makes really good videos easy to find and right, LITERALLY at your fingertips! There’s also a recently watched playlist that shows you videos you’ve watched which is great if you are working through a Journey and can’t remember where you finished up last!
Here we are doing Yoga! Before you judge us – we just finished up an hour long cardio workout before this and we have 4 kids so our house is ALWAYS messy AND our husband is probably the worst photographer in the universe #keepinitreal. Regardless, if you are looking for a great way to enhance your yoga practice this subscription is absolutely perfect! It’s great for people of all skill levels and no matter where you are at on your fitness journey!
So in summary
Presentation: We found the website easy to navigate and it was super simple to find videos that worked well for what we wanted.
Quality: We like the teachers and thought everything was awesome. The classes are definitely taught by people who know what they are doing!
Curation: For a digital subscription curation is a little harder to determine but it’s still there. My Yogaworks serves as a compendium for all kinds of yoga and for every level yogi and the subscription doesn’t break the bank. We are so impressed!
