Here’s the Box Breakdown
Our first glimpse inside the My Hygge Joy Box. Hygge is a Danish word that essentially means cozy.
Everything that we received in our, “Welcome to Joy” themed box! This is a snuggly assortment of items that remind us of days where it’s cold and rainy outside but oh so toasty indoors!
So what is all this stuff?

Choose Joy Mug
This mug is awesome. It’s the only mug we own that’s square which is so cool! Plus it says, “Choose Joy” which fits into this boxes overall theme so well!
Imagine if all mugs were square… they’d probably be easier to fit into your cabinet!
Terry Washcloth
This handmade washcloth is both tactile and soft.
One side is a typical absorbent terry material
but the other is the softest flannel ever! We cannot wait to use this!
Joy Greeting Card
This greeting card from Keepin’ It Positive invokes a sense of serene that is pretty much the embodiment of Hygge. The Rumi quote and unique charm make it that much better!
This card is a reminder and helpful tool in spreading our own joy with the people around us!
Howard Soap Company Joy Candle
Hand poured in Minnesota this travel sized candle is the perfect size to take along with you!
This Joy aroma is beautifully scented with notes of cinnamon, pine, bayberry as well as thyme! It’s quite unique and we love the gold tin!
Joy Bath Bomb from Head to HEEL
You know how we love to relax in a bath… so bath bombs as far as Hygge is concerned make sense!
The smell is bright and revitalizing with notes of Jasmine, Ylang Ylang and citrus. It also has flower petals on the top for a more aesthetic experience. We haven’t used this yet but can’t wait to!
Harney & Sons Egyptian Chamomile
We love Harney & Sons Tea! Enjoy their Egyptian Chamomile in your new mug.. and since it’s herbal… you can sip it day or night!
The Joy of Hygge
What better way to really reflect on what Hygge is and how you can implement it in your own life than with a book of the joys of hygge!? While this is useful to use this book would also make a really great coffee table book for people to look at and be inspired by while they are at your home!
Every page features a different activity that helps you bring coziness and well being into your home and lifestyle. We’ve pictured – fairy light lanterns, winter bunting, mulled wine, how to make an aromatherapy bag and stacking firewood but there is so much more.
So in summary
We look for three things in a subscription box; quality, curation and presentation. The My Hygge Joy Box is a great way to treat yourself to a quiet experience each month… this box really does implore us to take a deep breath and just be still – enjoying the moment. The presentation is great, everything arrives perfectly. The quality is fantastic, we love the washcloth and the greeting card. Both are gorgeously made! And curation is fantastic. This joyful mix of items really does remind us that life is about enjoying the time we have, so we should seize the moment!
