Here’s the Box Breakdown
There is no insert in your Mistfits Market Box. Instead you’ll receive an email at the beginning of the week that breaks down each vegetable that they’ve rescues. You could receive any of them but not all of them and the Madness ($34) box contains more variety.
First up we have 2 baby bok choi. These are delicious sauteed with butter and garlic and we are excited to have received them!
Then we have this package of plump grape tomatoes. We love putting these in our daughter’s lunch, they love them.
We love receiving salad mix – we use it in our lunches. This is the first time we received it in one of these plastic takeout containers which we think is pretty cool!
We also received 4 Anjou Pears. EVERYONE in our house loves pears, so this for us is a great addition to this box.
We received 2 navel oranges.
As well as 2 avocados, which we’ll be using in some delicious guacamole.
This is a new to us item and we’ll have to update you once we cook it. We personally aren’t the hugest fans of celery but we’re going to give this a fair try!
We received 2 turnips. Pro Tip: Eat them raw… few realize how delicious they are that way!
At first we thought these were more turnips but after thinking about it we realized these are actually radishes which will hopefully we a great addition to our next salads!
One thing that we consistently receive in our Misfits Market packages are sweet potatoes. We get it. These giant tubers add weight to otherwise weightless veggies. We’ll be using these for our starch for lunch over the next couple weeks!
Second to last are these HUGE bulbs of garlic. Can you ever have to much?! We think not!
No matter what you call them, these sweet little tasty fruits are the perfect snack! We received four of these deliciously sweet oranges.
So in summary
Presentation: Everything arrived to us perfectly in this installment of our Misfits Market Box
Quality: Even though they label this subscription as “ugly produce” we feel like that really takes away from the high quality, organic produce that they actually provide.
Curation: Another box of beautiful fruits and veggies with such a fantastic variety. LOVE IT!
