The first item in our Misfits Market Box are these 2 large butternut squash. We noticed they add gourds in each box to kind of amp up the weight. We are okay with that as squash is a delicious addition to dinner!

We also received 6 of these pee-wee vidalia onions. These are great on sandwiches and burgers because their rings are small and sweet! Very tasty!

Next up we have 7 red potatoes. Odd numbers are out of the ordinary for Misfits Market so we guess this was the last item they added to our box for the week.

The next item in our box are these two extra large cucumbers. We put these in a salad with onion, tomato and lime juice and salt and it was absolutely delicious! These were fresh too – we love how some of these items are clearly right from the garden / field.

We also received 6 Gala apples! We love how soft these are and believe us when we say that they didn’t last long in our house!

We also received 6 limes. Citrus fruit to us is so underrated fruit there is. These little guys have so far been used in a salad and will also be used in our Taco Tuesday pico de gallo!

These Ataulfo Mangoes are smaller than traditional mangoes and make an excellend mid afternoon snack! We received a total of 4 of them and the kids ate them up so quickly!

These two crowns of  broccoli are an excellent addition to this box. All of our kids love broccoli so we paired this with our romanescu as our first recipe from our box for this week!

Then there are these two bags of mini sweet pepper medleys. These include orange, yellow and red, baby sweet peppers. We were amazed with how sweet these were and we have so many to use – these make great additions to salads, eggs and anything under the sun!

These two bunches of curly kale will for sure be used for salad at our house. Kale salads are a regular thing here and we love just mixing it with a bit of onion and dressing it with a bit of lemon juice and some coarse salt!

This romanescu has Fibonacci written all over it! As we said above we paired this with our broccoli and sauteed it in a pand for a beautiful and nutritious dish! Our kids loved this (it’s a type of cauliflower).

There were also four green bell peppers included. We love these versatile vegetables! You can cook them or you can eat them raw in a salad… either way they are absolutely delicious.

The final item in this week’s Misfits Market Box is this bunch of lettuce. We use this stuff for our lunches and think it makes a great backup for a quick weeknight veggie option.

 So in summary

Presentation: Everything was in great condition in this weeks Misfits Market Box

Quality: We love that our produce is organic and natural with this subscription. Despite the name this stuff is GOOD!

Curation: We feel like we really receive a well rounded assortment once again. Lots of good fruit and plenty of delicious veggies!
