Our first glimpse inside the September, “And all at once summer collapsed into fall” themed box. I love all the orange and the way this is packaged!
Everything that came in my Lipstick Junkie Box for September. As always there are three products, two lipsticks and a multi-purpose liner.
So what is all this stuff?

MEMI Makeup Matte Luxe Lipstick in Old Flame

The first product in our box is this matte luxe lipstick from MEMI Makeup (a new to us brand). I absolutely love this packaging – it’s metal and heavy and screams high quality. But the color is nothing to scoff at either, this red is orange-y and perfect for fall…. definitely a showstopper!
MEMI Makeup is a UK based brand and they infuse their lipsticks with an array of oils to nourish despite the matte appearance of the color. I think this shade is gorgeous!
Folly Fire Matte Manipulation Lipstick in Weekend Zombie

Next up we have our bold shade for the month from Folly Fire – another new to us brand. The shade Weekend Zombie has a gray/ blue/ lavender shift and has a lot of character. Great for costume parties and rock concerts and any bold look you are going for really.
I was really impressed by the swatch, this is one swipe and it went on thick but not at all patchy. This is also a matte formula which is what I prefer personally.
Appeal Cosmetics Gel Liner in Desert Taupe

Multi tasking products are always great to have on hand. This one can be used on both the eyes and lips and is a great complimentary shade for fall!
I love the way this goes on, you can go light or you can build it up to a get a richer deeper shade of brown.
So in summary
Presentation: Everything was packaged well and arrived to us perfectly in our Lipstick Junkie Box for September.
Quality: I love that they send products from indie brands who are on the cutting edge of trends and make really high quality products
Curation: I felt like this was a great assortment for fall and I really enjoyed the bold color that they included for this month!
Box Economy: For the price of this box ($18) we received $52 in products which is a really amazing deal!
