Subscription Box Unboxing
Subscription Box Review
Everything that came in our Ipsy Glam Bag Plus for March. For the price this isn’t a bad bag at all!
So what is all this stuff?
Our box insert. This month’s theme is, “Celebrate You” and if you know anything about beauty boxes you know that the theme doesn’t mean a whole lot about the box.
This is variation Box159MA20. The inside of our card lists each item along with the retail values
Complex Culture Precision Concealer Brush
$26
I’ll admit that this brush is really pretty! The handle is gray and the duo tone bristles are really soft.
This brush is densely packed and has a unique shape to easily blend concealer. It’s also apparently great for cleaning up lipstick and eyeliner mistakes.
TheBalm Cosmetics AutoBalm PIC PRF
$26.50
The item that I customized for this box is this travel sized palette from TheBalm. This is super cute and made with metal and made to look like a license plate.
My swatch picture was crap but here is the palette. You receive a primer which is nice but I’ll be honest and say the colors are less than great. But as a nice on the go palette to touch up looks on the go this will be nice.
Hempz Body Moisturizer in Sweet Pineapple
$10.59
Next up is a product from Hempz. I love Hempz! But I’ll be honest and say that this Sweet Pineapple scent is a bit too sweet for me. I have a girlfriend who really loves Hempz so I’ll be giving this to her. This is a small size and is an addition to this month’s box because it’s Ipsy’s 100th bag anniversary!
Billion Dollar Brows 60 Seconds to Beautiful Brows Kit In Taupe
$24
Next up is a product that I’ll definitely be passing off. This powder for your brows is in taupe which is a color that I can’t wear. It does come with a brush that is double ended with a spoolie. I do like the Billion Dollar Brows products and am a bit disappointed that I won’t be able to try this out.
Malin + Goetz Revitalizing Eye Gel
$42
Second to last in our box is an eye gel from Malin + Goetz. I have been getting into more eye creams, since you know… age. This one is a gel which I prefer on my eyes… I really don’t like heavy creams on my eyes and this one promises to be lightweight. I am looking forward to giving this a try.
Yensa Super 8 Lip Oil in Pink
$24
The best item in my box as far as i’m concerned is this lip oil from Yensa. This oil has eight different superfoods that lend your lips antioxidants, nourishment and moisture.
The packaging on this product is beautiful. I just love this applicator. And the formula smells like watermelon!
This adds just a nice hint of pink color to the lips as well and makes a great topper to your favorite lipstick.
So in summary
Presentation: Everything was packaged well and arrived to me perfectly in my Ipsy Glam Bag Plus for March
Quality: Everything in my Ipsy package was a great quality
Curation: This is a nice mix and while I won’t use all the products it definitely makes up for it in value!
Box Economy: For the price of this box $25 I received $153 in items which is a stellar deal!
