Our first glimpse inside the Gramma in a Box for April.

Everything that we received in our April, “Spring” themed box. Another cute assortment.

So what is all this stuff?

Our box inserts. There is one that explains the theme and this month’s contents along with a card for each of the three recipes for this month.

Our melting chocolate this month is bright yellow and will be used in both our Birds Nests and our Marshmallow Flower Pops.

These crunchy noodles (so yummy) will be used in our Birds Nest Project

These 6 paper liners will also be used in our Bird’s Nests.

And each of our nests will be topped with 3 little eggs… or Jelly Belly jelly beans!

These colorful pastel sprinkles will be used in our third cookie decorating project.

These pastel M&M’s will be used in our Marshmallow Flower Pop project.

These blue crystal sprinkles will also be used to decorate our cookies.

As well as these gold crystals (we think these are super pretty)!

Our Marshmallow Flower Pops wouldn’t be complete with marshmallows and popsicle sticks of course!

We received 8 cookies in total. 2 large bird cookies, 2 large egg cookies, 2 small egg cookies and 2 small bunny cookies.

And as always we received 3 bags of frosting. This month we received pastel pink, blue and yellow which totally fits the spring theme of this box!

Okay so now we make some candy!

First, we gather everything that we need to create our Marshmallow Flower Pops.

Then we melt our melting chocolate.

Then we place a dollop on our wax paper – then place a lollipop stick in as well as a pastel M&M and then surround it with the marshmallows.

The kids really enjoyed this one!

Next up we gather everything together for our Bird’s Nest project.

This one is pretty simple. We just add our noodles to our melting chocolate and mix it up.

It will look like this.

Then you spoon this into the cups and create a small well in the center.

Then you will top your nest with 3 jelly bean “eggs”! How cute are these. We’ll admit here, sadly, that we ate four of these and STILL feel guilty.

Our final project is cookie decorating.

We gather together all of our remaining ingredients and get ready to d-e-c-o-r-a-t-e!

We really just let the kids go to town with these and have a great time!

And they really do!

Here are all of our completed crafts for April!

So in summary

Presentation: Everything arrived to us perfectly in our Gramma in a Box. We love how they list all the ingredients and the directions are so simple to follow!

Quality: We think they do a great job of using fun recipes that both kids and parents can appreciate

Curation: Each month you can count on this subscription box to give you a great assortment of themed crafts that will make your children smile!
