My first glimpse inside the Gramma in a Box for October

subscription boxes for kids

Everything that came in my October Halloween Themed Treats from Gramma in a Box. I am loving their new upgraded packaging.

So what is all this stuff?

My box insert

There’s also an insert that tells you about this month’s box as well as each of the three projects for the month.

These Cocoa Crispies will be used in our second project, Crispy Halloween Bites.

As will these six mini cupcake liners

These six Hershey Kisses will be used in our first project, Spooky Witches Hats

The third project in every box from Gramma in a Box is a Cookie Decorating Project. This month we’ll be decorating Halloween themed cookies. There are eight cookies in total. This package for four has two witches hats and two ghosts!

Every box from Gramma comes with two sheets of parchment paper. We use this to let our chocolate to set on. It makes for simple and easy cleanup.

Our other four cookies in this box are pumpkins! There are two small and two large!

These six ginger snaps are going to be used in our Witches Hat Project as the brim of the hat!

These fun colorful candies will be used in our Crispy Halloween Bites Project

For our cookie decorating project we receive three different color frostings. There’s purple, orange and white included in this month’s box.

Every box from Gramma comes with a different colored melting chocolate. This month we received regular colored milk chocolate. This will be used in both our first and second projects.

Finally we have a package of all the different sprinkles that will be used in our cookie decorating craft. There’s multi colored pareils, sprinkles and orange and purple sugar crystals.

Okay so now what?

Now we get to making!

First we gather everything we need for our first project. Spooky Witches Hats will require ginger snaps, melting chocolate, non pareils and Hershey Kisses.

First we heat up our melting chocolate.

Then we scoop a dollop of chocolate on each of the six cookies and then top it with a Hershey Kiss

Then you decorate the brim of your “hate” with the multi colored non-pareils

Here are our finished Witches Hats!

Next up I gathered together everything that I need for the Crispy Halloween Bites project. We’ll need the mini cupcake liners, cocoa crisps, the remaining melting chocolate and the candies.

First we add the cereal to the melting chocolate and mix it around

Then you will spoon some out into each of the mini cupcake liners

Then you will top with some of the little candies! Super cute!

Then you gather together everything that you need to decorate the cookies… our four sprinkles, our three frostings and the eight cookies.

I really like to let the kids be free and use their imagination for this project and they totally did. These cookies came out great!

Here are all of our finished candies and cookies for October!

So in summary

Presentation: Everything was packaged really well and arrived to me perfectly in my box from Gramma for the month

Quality: I love the assortment of sprinkles that comes in my box each month it’s always a great quality and assortment
