Our first glimpse inside the, “Fierce & Fabulous” themed Flair and Paper subscription box for May. This has a gold and pink motif which we really like!
Everything that we received in this month’s package. We love how the colors work so well together and as always there are tons of items for the low price of this box!
So what is all this stuff?
Our box insert. This lists each of the items that we received in this month’s box. They also tell us a little bit about this month’s theme which celebrates girl power and lifting each other up with positivity!
Pink & Gold Pencils
The first item in this month’s box are these two pink and gold pencils that work with this month’s color story. You can use these to write messages in your new greeting cards.
The gold pencil says, “Hello Gorgeous” and the pink pencil says, “Get It Girl”. We think these are super cute!
May Calendar Page
Every box from Flair and Paper includes a calendar page that fits the theme of that month. May’s box brings with it a beautiful page that has little plants potted in ever so current geometric planters; which we think is really cute. We have a small easel that we always put our calendar pages on. We have a particular knee-wall that ours always lives on.
I’m Your Greeting Card

The first card in this month’s box is “I’m Yours, what else could you possibly wish for”. This is a little bit funny, a little bit sassy and 100 parts true! The colors keep with this month’s theme and we think that this card would be great to give to your Mom for Mother’s Day (as a gag card only of course)! Alternatively you could also give it to a spouse as a silly reminder of what they have! Either way this card has a fun and playful feel to it.
I Really Like You Greeting Card

Sometimes our friends and family are going through those rough patches in life. For us personally we have trouble expressing in words that we are there.. cards help to say the things when our mouths fail us. This card is the perfect card for this sort of circumstance. The font is really cute and because each of the cards from Flair and Paper is blank inside you can write whatever note you need to. Another great use for this card is for a potential love interest. Tell them in the simplest form possible that you like them!
Treat Yourself Greeting Card

Because May is the month that celebrates Mothers this “Treat Yourself” card is super apt. The graphic has a pretty cake, making this a great card to pass on to any Mom you might think needs to take a time out and really enjoy their day. We love that this envelope is pink and matches perfectly with the graphic on the card. You could also use this as a pretty birthday card as well.
GRL PWR Note Pad from Lady Jayne

The Lady Jayne line is new to us but after looking at their website we are loving the stuff they create. They’ve been around a long time too, since 1988! This note pad is super pretty and totally has us feeling empowered with the “GRL PWR” on the front. The colors fit with the theme and we love that the metal fixture on this is gold!
This does have a soft pink band that you can use to keep the notebook closed and each page is lined on one side and unruled on the other. Perfect for both notes and doodles!
Fierce Mama Greeting Card

This card is the perfect Mother’s Day card to let any Mom in your life know that you think she is doing a great job! This is probably our own favorite card that was included in this box! We love that it could be used for any Mom – friend, family or your own Fierce Mama!
Hello Greeting Card

The final card in this month’s box is probably the one that most closely matches this month’s motif. The colors are really pretty and that pink and orange together scream Summer to us. This card could be used in a variety of different situations but we think it’s great to keep up correspondence with a long distance friend!
Mixt Studio Candle Wrap

The final item in this month’s Flair and Paper package is something we’ve never received before in any of our subscription boxes! It’s a candle wrap. Made of vellum these wraps hug either your votive or tealight and create a beautiful lantern effect. The colors of the pattern that we received are absolutely stunning and match perfectly with the theme of the box!
There were a total of three wraps included in our package. These are recyclable as well as biodegradable.
So in summary
Presentation: Everything in our Flair and Paper package arrived to us perfectly and was packaged beautifully. This box is one of our favorites to unbox.
Quality: We love the cards that Flair and Paper creates but we also love that they source some of their other items from smaller companies who put a lot of love into the products that they make.
Curation: This May, “Fierce and Fabulous” assortment celebrated femininity but also took into account how tough us gals really can be. We personally loved the colors and the items that were included.
Box Economy: For the price of this box ($19.99) we received a total of $36 in items (not including the calendar page) which we think is an awesome deal!
