Elizavecca Milky Piggy products are arguably the cutest out there. We’ve tried a few and have to say that yes, they’re cutesy but they’re also really effective. They sent us over a complimentary bottole of their Elastic Pore Cleansing Foam in exchange for review and here are our thoughts!
The packaging is really cute. The letters inside the box remind us very much of Disney. The actual tube of product contains 4.06 ounces and is also it’s own brand of cute but also a little morbid? See first image for reference.
The actual product is the most interesting consistency. It goes on like a gel and almost foams up like a carbonated mask. It says on their site that this product is great for all skin types and does a bang up job of removing makeup and impurities without stripping the skin of essential oils of the skin. It exfoliates and minimizes pores to boot. A bottle of this stuff will cost you about $10 on Amazon so it’s a really reasonable price.
Top 10 Ingredients
Water
Glycerin
Stearic Acid
Cocomidopropyl Betaine
Lauric Acid
Potassium Hydroxide
Charcoal Powder
Myristic Acid
PEG-400
Lauramide DEA
But how does it perform?
The box has instructions in English so keep that if you want it for reference later. The instructions simply say to take an adequate amount and apply to whole face. Then wash off with tepid water.
Overall this was a nice experience. The cream has a mild fragrance but left our skin feeling really clean and fresh. We wouldn’t use this everyday – more like once or twice a week. There is a little warning on the box that says if you experience swelling or itching after going out in the sunlight to consult a physician and also not to use on open skin, dermatitis or eczema. If you are looking for a nice charcoal face scrub this is one to check out.
