Subscription Box Review

Our first glimpse inside the Decocrated Spring 2020 Box!

subscription box review

Everything that came in our Spring 2020 package from Decocrated. These colors are speaking to my soul guys!

So what is all this stuff?

One of our inserts is a little thank you from the Decocrated team!

The other insert is a booklet. These are included each season and tell you the pieces you’ve received, give you information about that season’s featured artisan and give you styling ideas as well. It’s really helpful!

Here’s our booklet for this season!

The Burlap Tote

The first item in our box is a burlap reusable shopping bag. The band of color at the bottom perfectly matches the other items that were included in this season’s box! I love the saying on this, “It’s what’s inside that counts” I mean it is so fitting! The best part is that everytime you use this … you use one less plastic bag which the Earth is really happy about!

The Metal Lantern

Next up in our package is this metal lantern. Use this as a candle holder or plant stand… either way it’s definitely going to be gorgeous in your space! I decided to add a faux plant I already owned to it but I think this would be great to switch up each season with different centerpieces!

The Tabletop Set

One of the most gorgeous items that was included in the Spring Box is this four piece set of brass organizational tool. I am personally torn, do I use this in a central location in my house where everyone can enjoy it’s beauty or do I use in on my vanity like I really want to? Decisions, decisions!

The Art Print

The first item in our box for the season that was created by the featured artist Kelly Murker. This reversible piece has a “Home is where the heart is” image on the front (which is perfect for Valentine’s Day)

And the reverse says, “Live Life in Color” which I personally love! Dusty blues and pinks really bring both of these images to life!

The Framed Art

Next is our second item that was designed by our featured artist. Kelly Murker is an abstract artist who loves color and has a background in Textile Design… you can totally see that in her work. This image brings those blues and pinks we see in our art print and really puts them down to pull an emotion out of the person enjoying this work! The matteing is pretty and the frame keeps with those natural wood elements Decocrated selected for the season.

The Art Magnets

These gorgeous magnets were also designed by Kelly Murker! This set of 6 (yes there are five pictured because as I was staging these shots I didn’t realize Vivienne had taken off with one) are in the same abstract style and still pull those gorgeous blues and pinks. I love them together!

The Magnet Board

Second to last we have a magnet board with cool parentheses wooden accents on each end. You can use this board with the magnets you received or if you’re like me and love to collect magnets from all the places you travel to – you can use this to display them! Oh, that’s right I’m the only one! Either way this is a great way to keep things that are important in the forefront of your life like appointments, bills and notes to your family members you might otherwise forget!

The Spring Pillows

The final item in our box for spring are these two blue pillow covers. Almost every season we get at least one pillow cover to kind of freshen up our space for that season and I think the color and the twill look for this season is perfection! I’m still waiting for my oversized pillows to fill out the shams but they’re already giving me glimpses of a beautiful spring!

So in summary

Presentation: Everything is always packaged well and arrived to me in perfect condition in my Decocrated package for spring.

Quality: I love the featured artisan for the season and love the art and the quality of it. Each item was great in this season’s box

Curation: I felt like the items that were selected this season were excellent. There was a good mix of items that can be used year round as well as seasonally appropriate items!
