Here’s everything that we received in our December, “‘Tis the Sea Sun” themed box. We are really impressed with this month’s selection!
So what is all this stuff?

PYT Mini Hair Straightener

First up we have this mini hair straightener from PYT. This item was also included in the BoxyLuxe subscription. We love that it has it’s own carrying case and makes a perfect travel companion.
We love the pastel lavender color, aren’t sure if this was the only color that people received but are plenty happy with ours!
This item also comes with a limited warranty because it is an electronic device.
Pretty Vulgar The Powder Room Translucent Setting Powder

Um packaging? Yes. That box is checked off! This beautiful container of setting powder will help you achieve #setgoals. The formula is weightless, skin smoothing, transluscent and blurring. We haven’t tried it yet… those adjectives are all from Pretty Vulgar but they make us pretty excited to play around with this!
Upon opening you can see that this has a beautiful pink puff to apply your powder. We don’t typically use setting powders because our skin is so dry but we look forward to using this in our t-zone!
Cosmedix Detox Activated Charcoal Mask

This felt a little more “Glossybox” to us than it did Boxycharm but we are going to give them the benefit of the doubt on it. We love to use masks but feel like activated charcoal is so niche that a lot of subscribers couldn’t use it. Regardless, we’ll try this out and see if we have less breakouts from the sebum pulling charcoal (we’re hoping this is a holy grail for us!)
Tarte Glitter Lip Paint

Next in our box we have the Glitter Lip Paint from Tarte. This shiny lip gloss offers sheer coverage with a multi-dimensional shine with both glitter and gloss! You can use this with alone or as a topper (what we’d recommend) and it will look gorgeous!
To be honest when we first saw this we were NOT sold. The glitter threw us and we felt like this product would be totally “Tati Approved” and as an aside there’s nothing wrong with that… in fact we love Tati but she also loves glitter whereas we don’t! After we tried this though, we found the formula to be delicious and leave this beautiful glitter behind!
Definitely one to try! We love it!
Bodyography Lip Liner
Finally in our December BoxyCharm Box we have this Bodyography Lip Liner in “Barely There”. We actually really like receiving lip liners because we aren’t overflowing with them at this point and we found this color to be really pretty.
The formula does however pull a bit but we’re excited to give this a bit more time to experiment with!
So in summary
Presentation: Each of the items in our December BoxyCharm Box arrives to us perfectly!
Quality: We love that they source and send high end makeup brand for us to try at such a huge discount. Seriously, it doesn’t get better than this subscription!
Curation: We were kind of eh on the face mask but everything else for this month made us swoon. Seriously loving the December Boxycharm!
Box Economy: For the price of this box ($21) we received $169 in products! That is such a HUGE return.. how can a makeup lover say no?!
