Our first glimpse inside the Boxycharm for April.

Pur Festival Palette

OK full disclosure. When we first saw this as a spoiler we were super bummed. Number one we don’t wear tons of eye makeup (yes, we know each box comes with a palette) and on top of that the Pur Masquerade Palette just didn’t woo us beyond the yummy smell
This is a pressed pigments palette and contains 12 pans. We do want to note that a couple of our pans looked wonky… but this palette was made in collaboration with Boxy Charm so we can’t imagine someone else swatched it first?! There are 5 shimmers, 5 mattes and 2 glitter pigments in total.
We were actually really impressed with the performance of these and love the glitter pigments (and we aren’t glitter people). The pink shade was chalky but the purple shade and orange were really dreamy!
Luxie The Summer Daze 3 Piece Brush Set

Next up is this 3 piece brush set from Luxie. The colors perfectly compliment this sunset in the desert vibe this Boxy Charm Box is giving! The three brushes are a small shader, large shader and small contour brush. We probably won’t use the eye brushes but can definitely use the contour brush.
Appeal Cosmetics Holographic Lip Gloss

An item that we were not expecting was this “Holo” lip gloss from Appeal cosmetics. This would make a great lip topper and is definitely festival ready!
The word holo is thrown around quite a bit so we expect it to be more iridescent than actually holographic which is exactly what we received. This has no smell to speak of.
Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powder in Purple Dream

There were 2 variations of this highlighting powder included in April Boxy Charm Boxes. We received the one we’d hope for, Purple Dream. This powder is all natural, vegan and cruelty free.
This color is out of this world gorgeous. It’s stunning and unlike anything we own – perfect for a night out!
Chella Beauty Eyebrow Cream

We hate to be jerks but for the life of us cannot get this eyebrow product to work for us… it’s dual ended. One end has a brush and the other has a cream but we can’t seem to get product onto the brush. To be continued we suppose.
Eye Primer Sample from Pur
Pur also included a sample of their eyeshadow primer called, “Get a Grip”.
So in summary
Presentation: Everything arrived to us unscathed in this month’s Boxy Charm Box
Quality: We think they do a great job of bringing us higher end products in each of their boxes.
Curation: We were not initially bowled over by this box but after using all the products we honestly were impressed and this this was a great month from Boxy.
Box Economy: For the price of this box ($21) we received $138 in products which is a phenomenal deal!
