Here’s the Box Breakdown
Everything that we received in our October BBQ Box. As usual this is a pretty comprehensive set of items – all we need to add is the meat!
So what is all this stuff?
Our box insert. This tells us exactly how to create this month’s recipe.
This month’s recipe is a grilled tri-tip roast!
Gourmet Warehouse Blackening Spice
This stuff is the bomb! Husband and ourselves are both loving it! Great season all for your meat dishes.
This rub includes; paprika, salt, black pepper, garlic, onion, cayenne pepper, oregano, thyme, basil and “spices”. We’re thinking “spices” must mean “magic” because this stuff is good!
While you are waiting on your meat to cook here’s a little something to tide you over! We received 4 of these buffalo sticks from Carnivore Club (who also has their own subscription box).
Hickory Wood Chip Sample from Vaughn Wood Products
Our husband says these wood chip samples are the perfect size for one smoking session. We always receive wood chips in the BBQ Box from Vaughn Wood Products but we’d never received hickory before which our husband was extremely excited about!
Gourmet Warehouse Caribbean BBQ Sauce
The final item in this month’s BBQ Box is this bottle of Caribbean BBQ Sauce from Gourmet Warehouse. Not only does it compliment our spice blend perfectly, this sweet sauce is absolutely delectable!
As you can see by the flavor notes this is a complex sauce but very good!
So in summary
Presentation: Everything is packaged well and arrives to us perfectly in our BBQ Box.
Quality: We love the items that they include and love that they pair sauces and blends together that will taste great.
Curation: We love how the entire box is based on a recipe and everything ties together perfectly.
