Our first glimpse inside the Allure Beauty Box for May
Everything that we received in our May 2019 Allure Beauty Box. We love that the bag was orange this month!
So what is all this stuff?
Our box insert comes in the form of a mini magazine.
Each of the items that we receive is listed inside.
Every package from Allure comes with a little bag to put all your new goodies in. This month it’s a cool orange color. We do like that these are see through so we can see the contents. It makes them great for travel.
Lue by Jean Seo Erase Cleansing Exfoliating & Brightening Powder

Made with milk powder and oats this gentle mask helps exfoliate and clear pores. We already have one of these that we don’t use so we’ll be passing this on to a friend.
Amorepacific Youth Revolution Mask
We received a sample size of the this night mask from Amorepacific. We have to say that we love how luxe the packaging is! Visibly bright skin with no fragrance whatsoever!
Laritzy Lip Gloss in Vibe
$20
Next up we have a new lip gloss from vegan and cruelty free line Larizty Cosmetics. This product is worth $20 so it definitely makes this a great value!
This is a creamy gloss with a bit of tack and smells a lot like vanilla!
Laneige Water Bank Moisture Cream
This is a produce we actually aren’t excited about. We’ve received this sample in previous Ipsy Bags and in Sephora Play! Boxes and felt like it never really sunk into our skin and just laid on top. We didn’t feel like our skin could properly breath so we’ll be passing this along to someone who will like and use it.
ModelCo Eyelites Metallic Eye Shadow in St. Barts
We received a deluxe sample size of this creme eyeshadow of ModelCo. We received a similar product in our most recent Boxy Charm Box as well. This one is different and better in some ways but lacks the vavavoom that we got with the Ciate Creme Eye Shadow.
This is still pretty and we’ve found that it’s much easier to remove and is much more stay put. Nice item to include!
St. Tropez Self Tan Purity Bronzing Water Face Mist
The final item in this month’s box is from St. Tropez and is a bronzing water face mist which sounds equally fun and frightening to us. We are going to give this a whirl and let you guys know what we think!
So in summary
Presentation: Everything arrived to us perfectly in our May Allure Beauty Box
Quality: We feel like they do a really great job of bringing us current and very popular beauty brands.
Curation: We have been happy with each of the boxes that we’ve received from Allure. This one was no exception – it was extremely well rounded!
