My first glimpse inside the Allure Beauty Box for March
Everything that came in my Allure Beauty Box for March. This is a really nice box and I’m pleased with it!
So what is all this stuff?
Our box insert comes in the form of a Mini Magazine and gives us pricing and information on how to use each of the products in our box each month.
Be advised though, that the descriptions give you pricing for full sized versions of each product (but do not tell you if you received a full sized product). It can be a bit misleading but once you understand it you know what to expect.
Rituals Ritual of Ayurveda Foaming Shower Gel
The first item in my box is a travel sized container of the foaming shower gel from Ritual. I have tried the Happy Buddha as well as the Rituals of Sakura and really enjoyed them, particularly the Happy Buddha. I will definitely give this a whirl but think this scent is a bit granny-ish, it has a powdery, musky scent that may give me a headache. They say the scent is Indian Rose but it’s a very strong version of it.
Lapcos Hyaluronic Moisturizing Mask

So next in the box is this month’s variation. Subscribers either received this Hyaluronic Acid mask or a Ceramide mask. I’ll be honest I would have preferred the Ceramide but a sheet mask isn’t really doing it for me to begin with. I feel like I’m kind of over them, but nevertheless I am sure there are people out there who are pumped to receive and use this product
Dr. Botanicals Lemon Superfood All in One Rescue Butter

Next up in my box is something that is kind of swaying me with it’s packaging. This full sized body butter is from Dr. Botanicals and is yellow and has a light citrus scent. This is more a balm than a lotion which has me hopeful for the cold winter months when my hands and other extremities get really chapped!

Another item in my March Allure Beauty Box is this mascara from Rodial. I have tried out quite a number of products from this UK based brand in the past and really liked them but I think I’m going to hold out on this black mascara as I have quite a few open at the moment.
Floss my New Favorite Lip Gloss in Lax

Alright so when I was first digging around in this box I saw this Floss Lip Gloss and was instantly disappointed as the Floss New Favorite Lip Gloss was in there before but then I saw that it was colored and the color was gorgeous and I totally changed my mind!
This pretty peachy nude adds a nice pop of shine and little hint of color to the lips. The formula smells like vanilla too which is nice!
Mamonde Red Energy Recovery Serum
The final item in my box for the month is this sample sized container of Korean Beauty Mamonde’s Red Energy Recovery Serum. This serum adds smoothing, brightening and hydration to the skin. I am excited to give this a try.
So in summary
Presentation: Everything was packaged well and arrived to me in perfect condition in my Allure Beauty Box for the month
Quality: There is no lack of quality in this monthly beauty box.
Curation: I thought this was a well rounded selection and really gave a dose of makeup, skincare and body products
Box Economy: While I’m not sure of a few of the items prices in this months box, the prices I could add up equaled $62 which I think is a great deal for just $15!
