Subscription Box Unboxing
Subscription Box Review
My first glimpse inside this month’s box from Allure.
Everything that came in my July Box from Allure. I think this is a really great assortment!
So what is all this stuff?
Every box from Allure comes with a mini magazine that lists each of the items that is included in our boxes.
They also give you some ideas on how to use the products.
Lapcos Daily Skin Mask Charcoal
$3
The first item in my box is a charcoal infused sheet mask. Great for people with oily or acne prone skin… I think I’ll be skipping on this one as charcoal dries me out!
Peach & Lily Glass Skin Refining Serum
$39
Next up in my box is a full size serum from a new to me brand, Peach & Lily. This serum promises to give you a dewy “glassy” complexion. Hence it’s name. I struggle with dry skin and this product sounds like it might actually be promising for me! I can’t wait to try this out and bonus points that it’s full sized.
Osea Ocean Cleanser
Next up in my box is a cleanser from Osea. My only grievance with this subscription is that they never tell you if something is full sized or not. This is a 0.6 ounce bottle. This apparently is gentle on the skin but also includes a bit of lactic acid to get rid of any dry skin you might have.
Beautaniq Beauty Butter Lip & Cheek Balm
$16
The first makeup and only makeup item in my box for the month is this lip and cheek stain. This is a really pretty natural color and adds a hint of stain to a natural makeup look. This is another new to me brand and I’m excited to check out more of what they offer.
Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Calming Gel Cream
The one item in my box that I am most excited to try is this gel cream from Dr. Jart – I tried the color corrector and while it worked at neutralizing redness it seemed to dry me out. I’m hoping this is a little more moisturizing. Some boxes received an alternative product, the Dr. Jart+ Every Sun Day Mineral Sunscren
The final item in my box is a set of acne cover patches. There are 8 patches included in three different sizes. This was not listed in the pamphlet from Allure Beauty Box.
So in summary
Presentation: Everything was packaged well and arrived to me in perfect condition in my box from Allure for the month.
Quality: I have to commend Allure on pooling together a great assortment of great quality items
Curation: I think the assortment for this month was great. Personally I could deal with a bit more makeup but this was still good!
